Creating incidents

  • From the sidebar go to the Incidents page
  • To create a new incident click the "+ New Incident" button.
  • You will now be displayed a page, where you can enter all of the details about the incident
    • Use a template:
      • This option allows you to use a previously created incident template which automatically fills out all of the incident's data fields for you. This feature is useful for streamlining your incident creation process. See ARTICLE HERE for how to create incident templates
    • Title: a short text which tells your customers what the incident is about
    • Incident status: displays how close you are to resolving the incident
    • Message: a longer text which goes into detail about the incident.
    • Affected services: choose which services are affected by the incident and easily update their status from the dropdown menu to match the current state. This changes the corresponding services to your selected status when the incident is created.
